Let's assemble and paint a wooden helicopter kit

I recently made a rubber band powered car from the scraps of plywood left over after I made a toy plane kit with my grandson. I had comments relating to what kit those scraps came from so I went looking in the bargain store for some more. I couldn't find the same kit so I got the nearest one too it.

I have seen these kits in most of the bargain stores I visit. Today I bought these in "The Range".

Generally my projects are for my grandchildren to enjoy. OK, I enjoy them too. If anybody else likes them, that is a bonus. I like to keep my work as simple and basic as possible so that it can be copied easily and improved by anybody who wants to try themselves. I recycle or repurpose items rather than buy new and when I do buy I like to keep it cheap.
