Nicholas Rosaci Redesigns a Cottage House - Love Your Space, brought to you by Sears

From a young age, Nicholas Rosaci knew design was his future, save for a rhinestone-studded phase in his teenage years when he wanted to be a Backstreet Boy. At seven, he started tagging along on social visits with his mother, and by the time she finished her coffee, the room would be rearranged. "I even learned how to sew as a kid so I could make cushions and drapes for myself and my mom's friends," he says. So what drives his designer instincts? "I'm always trying to create spaces that go beyond characterless, cookie-cutter rooms to make them into something unique and spectacular." And he's done just that since emerging from Humber's Interior Decorating program.

Five up-and-coming designers, five inspiring rooms, and one lucky winner. Whether your favourite room is a quiet, cozy getaway or a hub for friends and family, every space can use an upgrade to be more livable, functional, and most of all, loveable.

So to help you envision the possibilities for your space, we've partnered with five talented designers to create unique rooms that blend style and function for the ultimate living space. To show you just how loveable your space can be, we'll be rolling out each of their designs, complete with their hand-picked furniture, colours, and unique design philosophies.
We'll then ask you to vote on your favourite room, and one lucky winner will walk away with an incredible room upgrade!
